VENTURA, CA – March 2007.  Magnuson Products, Inc. manufacturer of superchargers and supercharger systems for foreign and domestic vehicles, has released its Magna Charger supercharger system for Gen 1 small-block Chevy with Vortec-style cylinder heads. The Chevy Votec cylinder head is a very affordable upgrade for the first generation small-block, and many enthusiasts are using this popular combination for both automotive and marine applications

The Magna Charger system is designed around the Magnuson MP112 supercharger with the 5th generation rotating group. These rotors are the latest technology, using an APC coating process, which allows the rotors to find their own tolerances, thereby increasing efficiency. These rotors are also used in OE supercharger applications.

The supercharger system includes the lower manifold, lid with or without intercooler as an option, supercharger, inlet-to-throttle body adapter, complete drive system with dynamic tensioner, and the capability to use MEFI 4 fuel injection systems.
